Bridgette Yang is a Taiwanese American creative writer and film director based in San Francisco. Intertwining nostalgia, poetic language, and a wonder for new worlds, she hopes to write stories that become mirrors for whoever is looking close enough.
She's performed poetry at the Getty Center alongside John Legend, SFJAZZ, USC Festival of Books, and more. She was also one of the five 2022-2023 Poetry Coalition Fellows with Youth Speaks.
As a filmmaker she's worked on music videos, commercials, and documentaries, finding a home in narrative storytelling.
She loves the VS podcast, ties her shoelaces faster than you, and ironically can't snap but hopes to one day get there.
