Bridgette Yang is a creative writer and film director based in LA/SF.
Intertwining nostalgia, poetic language, and a wonder for new worlds, she hopes to write stories that become mirrors for whoever is looking close enough. She's performed poetry at the Getty Center alongside John Legend, SFJAZZ, USC Festival of Books, and other events throughout California. She is one of the five 2022-2023 Poetry Coalition Fellows with Youth Speaks.
Bridgette is also 1/3 of the directing collective Lucky Rabbit Pictures. They were recently the Artists-In-Residence with the Chinese Culture Center, one of the leading art institutions in San Francisco's Chinatown.
She loves the VS podcast, ties her shoelaces faster than you, and ironically can't snap but hopes to one day get there.
